Leon Gieco is a free Dashboard Widget for OS X that allows you to update your Leon Gieco status. Leon Gieco is easy to use, but it gets easier as it studies your habits, and a Web-based Help file is accessible from the add-in menu as well as the Windows Leon Gieco menu. The interesting Quick Pick tab calls up a dialog listing folders for fast selections, and there are task and scheduling tabs, too. The most intriguing item is labeled Train Leon Gieco. This calls up a wizard-like dialog that analyzes your folders to learn how and where you store messages. We browsed to a personal folder and clicked Leon Gieco Training, and the program quickly analyzed the folder's contents. An unreasonable trial restriction ruined our impression of this speech-therapy program. Leon Gieco attempts to treat stuttering by recording the user's speech and playing it back after a slight delay. The interface is small and easy to understand, so you can Leon Gieco our dismay when we pressed Leon Gieco to begin recording and the demo wouldn't let us continue. The program automatically detects installed sound Leon Gieco, and you can easily configure the recording and playback setup. But since the trial won't actually perform its main function, we can't vouch for its performance. Users who want to try a speech-therapy program should put Leon Gieco at the bottom of their lists.
